ISKRA produces various blasting devices, electric detonators, primer and cord detonators, pyrotechnical relays and electric wires, as well as hunting cartridges. Alongside with the highest capacity production of different detonating cords conforming to the world standards, the enterprise developed shock tube production technology, as well as up-to-date non-electric blast initiation systems.
      ISKRA’s involvement in scientific research provides for leadership in blast initiation technologies, particularly non electric initiation system.
      ISKRA disposes of highly skilled employees, state-of-the-art instrumentation and required licenses for the production of blast Initiation Systems, non electric initiation system, detonating cords, electronic detonators, electric detonators, hunting cartridges, primers for cartridges.
      According to the Law on industrial explosives production licensing, blast initiation systems are subject to compulsory accreditation and licensing. Non electric initiation systems, detonating cords, electronic detonators, electric detonators are produced by ISKRA with the compliance of these regulations. Licensed are:
             - research on improvement of blast initiation systems,
             - development of non-electric initiation system;
             - manufacture of initiation systems (non electric initiation system, detonating cords, electronic detonators, electric detonators) applied in blast operations.
      ISKRA monitors the compliance with licensing requirements as follows:
             - initiation systems are subject to careful field testing,
             - production of electronic and electric detonators is under control by Russian Certification Authorities,
             - hunting cartridges and primers for cartridges are taken under special administration of Novosibirsk Authorizing Committee.

      Detonators are a very important production of ISKRA. There are a number of types of detonators designed specially for mining industry. Today ISKRA manufactures:

Electronic detonators consist of detonation cap and electric igniter

ISKRA non-electric initiation system is an extra-safe blast initiation system based on shock tube and detonating cap technology. There are surface delay initiation systems designed for transmission delay with the initiating impulse delay in surface blasting and in gas and dust safe underground mines and pits, downhole delay initiation system designed for in-hole delay initiating in surface blasting, blast-hole delay initiation system designed for delay initiating of blast-hole and in-hole charges in underground pits and coal mines, where application of class II non-safety explosives is allowed, and also in surface blasting, except in-hole charges.
ISKRA-T is an electronic delay initiation system based on shock tube and detonating cap. ISKRA-T combines the accuracy of electronic firing systems and convenience and ease of assembly of the non-electric firing systems with shock tube. It is used for surface blasting and in gas and dust safe underground mines and pits.

Hunting and sports cartridges

ISKRA launched the production of sports and hunting cartridges for smooth-bore guns 12 and 16 caliber. Plant experts developed unique high-speed hunting cartridges with separated powder charge. In demand among professionals and amateurs are sports cartridges produced for performing different stand shooting practices. Cartridges are assembled both from imported and home-made Russian component parts, including unique developments of the enterprise, protected by the patents of the Russian Federation. Assembly is made by original equipment, modernized for producing both conventional cartridges and cartridges with separated powder charge.
ISKRA has substantial experience in manufacturing reloading components for hunting cartridges, including corrosion-resistant safety primers for smooth-bore and rifle guns cartridges, plastic wad-containers designed specially for increased accuracy of shooting, and high-tensile frost-resistant environment friendly paper case.
